Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

FROMKOR International (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information submitted in connection with Korean product sourcing inquiries according to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide by form or email, such as company name, contact name, email address, country or region, requested product, product specifications, reference URLs, estimated quantities, target prices, desired delivery dates, and inquiry details. Technical information such as access logs and cookies may also be processed in operating the website.

The inquiry form requires a contact name and email address. Other fields, including company name and product requirements, are optional. The personal information consent checkbox is also required.

2. How We Use Information

We use inquiry information to respond to requests, clarify product requirements, research products and potential suppliers, coordinate quotations, samples, orders and exports, and maintain necessary business records. We do not plan to use sourcing inquiries for separate promotional email campaigns without any consent required by applicable law.

3. Sharing Information with Suppliers

We may discuss non-identifying product requirements with potential suppliers. If it becomes necessary to disclose your company name, contact name or direct contact information to a supplier, we will explain this in advance and obtain any required consent. We do not disclose personal information for unrelated purposes except as permitted or required by law.

4. Service Providers and International Processing

Hosting and backups

We use FastComet Inc. for website hosting. FastComet support has confirmed that our hosting server is in Tokyo, Japan, and its remote backup server is in Singapore. The provider’s privacy contact is privacy@fastcomet.com.

Inquiry forms

Our inquiry forms use WordPress and WPForms Lite. WPForms Lite does not currently save form responses in our WordPress database, and Lite Connect entry backups are disabled. Form details are sent in inquiry notification emails. Even without database storage of form responses, the hosting server processes the submitted information to send the inquiry.

Sending and managing notification emails

Notification emails are sent through the Google/Gmail connection in WP Mail SMTP and received and managed at info@fromkor.com using Google Workspace Business Starter. The base Business Starter edition does not include Data Regions controls. Under Google’s applicable terms, data may be stored or processed in countries where Google or its subprocessors maintain facilities; processing is not restricted to the United States.

The Google Admin console records our acceptance of the Cloud Data Processing Addendum (CDPA) on October 29, 2026.

Information transferred and when it is sent

When you submit the form, the information described in section 1 is processed by the website server and sent to Google’s email service in a notification email. For email inquiries, the email service processes sender and recipient addresses, the subject, message content and any attachments you send.

Google publishes provider names, locations and activities in its Google Workspace subprocessors list. The list does not mean that each of our emails is processed in every listed country.

Choosing not to submit information and requesting deletion

If you do not want your personal information processed through these services, please refrain from sending personal information through the form or by email. Without necessary contact details, we may be unable to reply individually or handle a sourcing request. For deletion, restriction or other requests after submission, contact us using section 9. Emails to that contact address also use Google’s email service.

5. Retention and Deletion

We intend to retain new product sourcing inquiry information for one year from the date of receipt and then delete it, including relevant inquiry emails and related business records. Records required by law or related to transactions that proceed may be handled separately for applicable statutory periods.

Deletion of emails and business records under our control does not necessarily coincide with complete removal from a service provider’s systems or backups. Provider-side deletion follows the applicable contractual terms, recovery periods and backup replacement or deletion procedures.

Under Google’s CDPA, when data deleted through the service can no longer be recovered by us, Google must delete it from its systems as soon as reasonably practicable and within a maximum of 180 days, except where applicable law requires storage. This provider deletion period is distinct from our one-year inquiry retention policy.

6. Previous Membership Services

We are discontinuing our former buyer registration and online store functions. Legacy membership information is handled separately from new sourcing inquiries and will be reviewed for deletion or retention under applicable legal obligations.

7. Information Security

We restrict access to personal information to authorized persons with a business need and manage credentials and access permissions appropriately.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information and exercise other rights under applicable law by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
